Jason Berk is a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer who has performed and recorded with artists including Micky Dolenz, Rick Wakeman, Cat Power, and members of R.E.M. and The Beach Boys. Recent highlights include appearances at Madison Square Garden, recording at Abbey Road and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, touring with Isobel Campbell, and performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with She & Him.
ABOUT JASON
A New Jersey native raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jason Berk is a Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator whose career has taken him from club stages to some of the world's most iconic venues and recording studios. He has released four acclaimed solo albums while building a reputation as a versatile collaborator both onstage and in the studio.
Alongside his work as a solo artist, Berk has performed and recorded with artists including Jackson Browne, Micky Dolenz, Marshall Crenshaw, members of R.E.M., The Beach Boys, and The Bangles. Career highlights include appearances with the Wild Honey Orchestra alongside surviving members of The Lovin' Spoonful and performances with legendary musicians including Denny Seiwell, Steve Porcaro, and Davey Johnstone.
In recent years, Berk has toured Europe as bassist for Cat Power's Cat Power Sings Dylan: The 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert, performed at Madison Square Garden as part of Elliot James Reay's band opening for Benson Boone, and recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios for the Goffin & King Foundation.
In 2026, Berk recorded original music at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, toured the West Coast with Isobel Campbell, and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with She & Him ahead of joining the duo on tour. He continues to write, record, perform, teach, and work on his fifth album.
